ADCOLOR Announces Class 2022 of ADCOLOR FUTURES and Inaugural Class of ADCOLOR LEADERS

NEW YORK, August 25, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — ADCOLOR, the premier organization dedicated to celebrating and promoting color and diversity professionals in the creative industries, today announced its 2022 class of ADCOLOR FUTURES and the first class of ADCOLOR LEADERS. Both talent programs build on ADCOLOR’s “Rise Up, Reach Back” motto, encompassing those just starting out in their careers and those well established in their respective industries.

Launched in 2012, the ADCOLOR FUTURES program identifies and nurtures the next generation of leaders who have one to three years of experience in their industry. Now in its 11th year, the program provides training, mentorship and empowerment to selected young professionals with the goal of nurturing tomorrow’s talent, today.

After a long application and interview process, 30 young professionals have been chosen for the class of 2022 of ADCOLOR FUTURES. These individuals exhibit strong leadership potential, sustained involvement in feedback seeking, an interest in partnering with leaders to drive change through DE&I initiatives, and innovative thinking to solve today’s problems. today. As part of the program, the FUTURES 30 will be immersed in ADCOLOR University, an intensive training facilitated by leading leadership and talent consultancies. They will also participate in the annual FUTURES Hackathon, presented by Apple.

To complement this prestigious FUTURES program, ADCOLOR, in collaboration with Google, launched the ADCOLOR LEADERS program earlier this year. This program aims to support historically excluded professionals with 15+ years of experience in the creative industries as they move into leadership positions.

From the many applications received, 30 emerging leaders were selected to form the inaugural class of LEADERS. Individuals chosen as LEADERS are able to institute change in their field, believe in the power of diversity, and display a passion for championing DE&I for the long term. The inaugural program will include cutting-edge workshops, discussions with thought leaders and organized exercises encouraging self-exploration. The goal is for participants to leave the program with a renewed sense of purpose, an invigorated approach to their work, and meaningful relationships to propel them to the next level.
